Don’t miss Sunday evening, March 20th, as people from across Trumbull and Mahoning counties will come together to view an inspiring story of hope and to publicly declare our need for God.
We’ll be showing the film, “An Appalachian Dawn.” This amazing documentary tells the story of how God’s power transformed one of the most desperate communities in the nation (known as the “Painkiller Capital of America”) to what is now called “The City of Hope.” Adults and students alike will be amazed at the power of God to transform both individuals and an entire community. The evening will close with a time of prayer for our own Mahoning Valley.
DATE: Sunday, March 20th
TIME: 5:00-8:00 pm
WHERE: Pleasant Valley Church | 2055 Pleasant Valley Rd. | Niles, OH 44484
COST: There is no cost for this event. It is free and open to anyone in the community. A freewill offering will be taken, however, with all proceeds going to the Sentinel Group which produced the film.

THE PRAYER MOVEMENT WILL NOW INCLUDE TWO WEEKLY PRAYER MEETINGS
A PASTOR’S PRAYER MEETING – Weekly on Tuesdays at 8 AM at First United Methodist.
This prayer meeting returns to being “for pastors only”. We believe it is important to have a time for pastors to pray together and find greater levels of unity in Christ.
A COMMUNITY PRAYER MEETING – Weekly on Wednesdays at noon at the Log Cabin in downtown Warren. We believe the Lord is telling us we need a prayer meeting that reflects our goal of countywide transformation. We want pastors, intercessors, people from business, education, government and the community to pray regularly for our county and our region. We also believe that by promoting a Community Prayer meeting the Holy Spirit is and will continue to raise up more prayer groups throughout our county who meet regularly to pray for revival and the spiritual transformation of the cities in our area. Look for more information in the days ahead.
We enjoy praying together! We are reaping the benefits of holiness and deeper intimacy with Christ and each other. We rejoice in being able to participate with God in the great enterprise of expanding His kingdom and seeing true revival come to our area! You are welcome to attend the Community Prayer Meeting as well.
God is calling the body of Christ to come together in united and extraordinary prayer for revival in Trumbull County.
We are praying for 40 pastors and 400 people to participate in this prayer focus. Several “Prayer Sites” will be available but pastors can join with another church and make their own prayer site. All Prayer Groups will be using the Seek God for the City Prayer Guide to give our praying a united focus. We will conclude 40 Days of Prayer by gathering at the Community Good Friday Service on April 2.
40 Days of Prayer will take place February 17 through March 28 (Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday).
We realize that much of what is going on in our nation is only a symptom of the real need that we have. We believe God is calling us to turn back to Him, to truly seek Him in humility and to petition Him to pour out His Spirit upon us. Following the 40 days of continual prayer and fasting for our cities and our county which culminated in our Sacred Assembly on April 5, and subsequently, the 10 days prior to the global Day of Prayer on May 31st ending with our Sacred Assembly on that day, we acknowledged that we do not want to stop!!! God has begun a great work and we are determined to seek Him out now more than ever. Corporate prayer will continue indefinitely. Beginning in June intercessors will gather in Courthouse Square in downtown Warren at the gazebo on weekdays from 6 am to 7 am. The Saturday meetings will continue at 9 am. The first Saturday in June will be at the Sunrise Inn in downtown Warren. As the weather gets warmer, the prayer gathering may move to the outdoors. Please check back in the future for more details. Sundays are set aside for everyone to attend their place of worship. All who would like to participate in unity to seek God’s face and petition Him to pour out His Holy Spirit upon us are invited to join us at these times and days.
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Sponsored by Trumbull County Prayer Movement (330-637-1421)
About four hundred people met at First United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 5th, 2009 for our 6th Sacred Assembly. The purpose of the Assembly was to seek God for an outpouring of His Spirit to revive His church, bring many lost people to Jesus Christ and transform our cities. The Lord met with us in a special way.
Viewing a clip about The Welsh Revival of 1904 from the video Great Christian Revivals gave us a glimpse of what happens when God pours out His Spirit. When the Assembly was called to prayer there were cries for God to pour out His Spirit again – on us! His presence brought conviction of sin as well as hope for the coming revival. God continues to prepare our hearts for what He is about to do.
The expressions of praise and worship in song that concluded the Assembly brought great joy to all! We continue to believe that if we make room for Him in our hearts…He will come! We can’t wait to see His glory!
We, the pastors of the Trumbull County Prayer Movement, have gathered together to pray for unity in the Body of Christ, and for repentance and revival in our community. We welcome you in the name of God to join with us in this great work of God!
